Energy Management
EPA Portfolio Manager can help Facilities Managers track their companies’ building portfolio. The software assigns Energy Star ratings to facilities and suggests energy savings opportunities. New User registration can be found in the right hand side column of the Web site.

Energy Star published a set of guidelines for companies seeking to implement a strategic energy management process. Process steps include performing an energy audit, securing upper management and employee buy-in, and evaluating and reassessing performance continuously. Energy Star estimates that companies who undertake energy efficiency efforts can cut at least 20% from utility costs.

The Climate Trust is a non-profit greenhouse gas offsets provider. The organization provides offsets to power plants, regulators, businesses and organizations of all sizes, and individual consumers.

Sustainable Travel International is a non-profit organization specializing in sustainable travel promotion. The organization provides travel offsets as well as educational travel resources to businesses and individual consumers.

Nonprofit, UK-based Climate Care provides consumer and business offsets for a wide range of transportation activities.
